Privacy Policy

Last updated 18 Oct 2026

This policy explains what personal data TradeVendor ("we") collects when you use the website and services, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect - **Account data:** name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), phone, company name, job title and country. - **Business profile data** that suppliers publish: company details, products, photos and certificates. - **Requests and messages:** RFQs, quotes and messages you exchange with other users. - **Technical data:** IP address, browser type and pages visited, used for security and to keep the service working.

How we use it - To run the marketplace: show profiles and products, deliver RFQs, quotes and messages, and send account emails. - To keep the platform safe: verify suppliers, prevent fraud and spam, and investigate reports. - To improve the service, using aggregated statistics. - To process payments for paid plans (handled by our payment provider, Stripe; we never see full card numbers).

Who can see your data - Suppliers' public profiles and products are visible to everyone. - When you send an RFQ or a message, the suppliers you contact see your name, company and the contact details you provide. - Service providers that host the platform, send email and process payments, under contracts that protect your data. - Authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it Account data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account yourself in Account settings at any time. Your personal details are removed straight away; quotes and messages other businesses rely on stay, without your name or contact details. Some records are kept where the law requires it (for example invoices).

Your rights Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to or restrict some processing. You can download a copy of your data and delete your account yourself in Account settings, or contact us through the contact page. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Cookies and storage We use only what is needed to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We don't use advertising cookies. If we use Google Analytics to understand which pages help buyers, it only runs after you allow it in the banner, with IP anonymisation, and never on your account, messages or supplier dashboard. You can change your choice by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Security We use HTTPS everywhere, store passwords as hashes, keep business documents private and limit staff access to what they need.

Changes If we change this policy we will update this page and, for important changes, tell you by email.
